Welcome to the Arapaho Charter High School website. As a representative of our faculty and staff, I would like to welcome all parents, students, community members, and visitors to our website. Arapaho Charter High School is a school of choice within Fremont County School District #38 educating students from grades 9 through 12. Our mission is provide a quality education and for all students who attend our school to achieve success. Our world is everchanging and it is important for all of our students to be able to meet whatever challenges they may face once he or she graduates from ACHS. As a result, our highly educated and dedicated staff continually strives to bring our students to “Dream, Belief, Achieve, Succeed”, the motto of ACHS.
Arapaho Charter High School presently enrolls a maximum of 55 students. We offer a full curriculum of nine core subject areas that meet the standards of Wyoming’s Hathaway Scholarship. ACHS also provides a wide range of out-of-school opportunities for our students. We have an active Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) program, student council, and Close Up. Various vocational and academic activities provide students with events to fill up his or her after school schedule. Star Parties, Young Parents Group, the Matrix Program, and various vocational activities are highlighted regularly.
We are also very proud and cognizant of the rich Native American Heritage found on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Most of our students are from the Arapaho Nation, with others being related to the Northern Cheyenne, Eastern Shoshone, and Lakota groups. We provide a language, history, and culture program that works to instill pride and the continuation in the traditional practices of all the Native tribes, particularly the Arapaho.
We are proud of our accomplishments at ACHS and continually strive to improve our academic and vocational programming. We encourage you to take your time meandering through our website.
