Frank Symington, PhD

Frank came to ACHS in 2008 to teach all of the school's science courses. Before joining us, he taught secondary science in Rock Springs, Gillette, and Jackson. His he attended public K12 schools in several states, earned a BS degree from Yale University (biology) and a PhD degree from the University of Pennsylvania (immunology). His laboratory research involved several areas of animal and human immunobiology and biochemistry and yielded peer-reviewed journals articles and book chapters. Frank left research to raise childre. He became a teacher because it makes him feel good to open young minds to the power of science for unraveling the everyday mysteries all around us.
